ProCredit Bank initiated the development of a multi-year brand awareness strategy aimed at increasing recognition, strengthening trust and positioning the bank as a modern, transparent and digitally focused institution within the market. The strategy covers the period from 2025 to 2030 and relies heavily on digital-first communication, original visual elements and a consistent long-term narrative.
Challenge & Insights.
ProCredit Bank needed to overcome low brand recognition, misconceptions about serving only businesses, limited visibility and strong digital competition. Strategic analysis highlighted the bank’s strengths — responsible and transparent banking, modern digital services, German stability and the “ProBaj” trial concept — requiring a visual identity that communicates reliability, digital simplicity and a more relatable, human-centered brand presence.
Solution & Impact.
A comprehensive visual system was developed, featuring custom illustrations, tailored graphic elements and a fully original brand mascot, aligned with the client’s requirement to avoid all stock photography. The unified digital-first design framework, supported by moodboards, conceptual routes and multi-platform assets, created a recognizable, scalable and long-term visual identity. This resulted in stronger brand differentiation, improved perception, increased emotional relevance and a consistent creative foundation for ProCredit Bank’s communication from 2025 to 2030.
